Metro Atlanta Project’s mission is “Rebuilding a City…One Life at a Time”.  We are a Christian ministry that facilitates opportunities for students in grades 6-12, adults, and families to reach out to citizens around in Atlanta by providing them with home repairs. MAP participants seek to grow together in fellowship and glorify God by addressing the needs of homeowners in this tough economy.

Students and Adults are encouraged to participate in this service project. MAP helps local families with financial limitations by providing small-scale home repairs. Many of the people we serve are senior citizens, veterans, single parent families, or others. Our student and adult volunteers are grateful to get to know them and are honored to work in their homes. Volunteers at MAP also enjoy building new friendships as we serve, worship, play games, and have other activities together.

MAP volunteers appreciated the opportunity to work together and make new friends and relationships, especially with the kind homeowners. Truly, we always seem to take away from MAP more than we are able to give, by means of the connections made which we hope will engender a lasting partnership with these communities.
